Yahrzeit plaque

Yahrzeit, meaning "year time" in Yiddish, is the Jewish anniversary of a death. It is observed annually on the Hebrew calendar date of the death by reciting the Kaddish prayer and lighting a yahrzeit candle. It is Jewish tradition to never forget the memory of our departed loved ones and friends. It is customary to attend a Shabbat service the week or even the day of the Yahrzeit to say the Kaddish prayer.
