help and answers for life's struggles

A support group for those struggling with issues of addictions of all kinds, anger, co-dependant behavior, abuse, sexual issues, or the results of recent life events such as divorce, sickness, death, loss of a job etc.  We have all been hurt by other people, we’ve hurt ourselves, and we’ve hurt others. As a result, every single one of us ends up with some sort of hurt, hang-up or habit. The question we all face is, “Where do I go from here?”  We provide a confidential and anonymous process of recovery for those who are ready to work through their hurts, habits or hang-ups with others, look to the Bible for answers, so that we might ultimately be victorious in our lives. Wherever you may be on your spiritual path, at Celebrate Recovery you will find a supportive community with a wealth of opportunities for personal growth. We can become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors, leading to peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. This ministry does not offer any professional clinical advice, and its members are not allowed to attempt to “fix” one another. A list of approved counseling referrals will be provided.

Celebrate Recovery is a biblical and balanced program that helps us overcome our hurts, hang-ups, and habits. It is based on the actual words of Yeshua rather than psychological theory. 25 years ago, Celebrate Recovery started with 43 people. It was designed as a program to help those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Yeshua the Messiah through a recovery process. Celebrate Recovery has helped more than 17,000 people at Saddleback Church in CA., Celebrate Recovery is now in over 20,000 congregations worldwide!

What are the 12 Steps?

We support each other in these 12 Steps: 1. We admitted we were powerless over our addictions and compulsive behaviors, that our lives had become unmanageable. 2. We came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity. 3. We made a decision to turn our lives and our wills over to the care of God. 4. We made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. 5. We admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs. 6 We were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character. 7 We humbly asked Him to remove all our shortcomings. 8 We made a list of all persons we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them all. 9 We made direct amends to such people whenever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others. 10 We continue to take personal inventory and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it. 11 We sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, praying only for knowledge of His will for us, and power to carry that out. 12 Having had a spiritual experience as the result of these steps, we try to carry this message to others and practice these principles in all our affairs.
